The company is the brainchild of a first generation entrepreneur, Mr Brajesh Agrawal who hails from the Nagar town in Bharatpur. Mr. Agrawal moved to the Industrial city of Vadodara in the mid 80s to chart an independent course in the tourism and hospitality business. With a multi decade experience in a customer centric business, Mr.Agrawal decided to enter the financuial services business focussed on the lending business by setting up the NBFC. Ramkrishna Finlease obtained a license and approvals to commence business from the RBI in October 2016. The NBFC true to its founders ethos and philosophy seeks to cater largely to the strata which while deserving has remained relatively less catered by the bigger and established players in the system. As part of this fundamental approach, it seeks to establish a strong presence in the rural hinterland in the years to come even as it seeks to cater to the strata at the lower portion of the pyramid in cities and urban centres. Given the rapidly changing business landscape and emerging paradigms in the financial services sector, the company embraces contemporary technology to operationalise the business and aims to be a nimble lender with a very robust digital footprint to supplement the physical brick and mortar infrastructure
